The RV Park is open April 1 - Thanksgiving weekend. Closing date in November may depend on the weather! There are 29 RV spaces; 1 picnic table in each RV space; spaces 1-16 with firepits - no wood provided; spaces 9-12 with 220 Volt/50 AMP electrical; satellite TV hookup with 4 stations; no drive through parking stalls; and pay showers in the restrooms. Please call the office if you plan to camp on opening day or through the Thanksgiving weekend.
When camping, the following responsibilities are those of the campers:
- Camping is limited to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
- CHECK IN time is 12:00 noon CHECK OUT time is 11:00am
- Quiet time is 10:00pm - 8:00am
- All animals must be kept on a leash under control of owner.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed outside your RV camp area.
- You are responsible for all damages to your camping area.
- Please leave your camping spot in the following condition:
- garbage picked up
- table clean
- no garbage in fireplace
- cigarette butts picked up
- animal waste picked up and dumped in garbage
- Use per RV site:
- one RV and one vehicle
- one RV and one tent (maximum of 4 people) - one vehicle
- two tents (maximum of 4 people each) and one vehicle
- Additional cars may park in overflow parking lot.
**NON-RESERVATION CAMPING
Reservations are not required for camping at the Stan Hedwall RV Park. First come - first served camping is available 7 nights per week. Procedures for checking in are:
- In the RV Park find a suitable camping spot without a 'Reservation' or 'Occupied' sign on the electrical post.
- Go to the restroom, in the center of the camp, to the reservation counter on the women's side of the building.
- Get a camping permit from the box.
- Fill out the permit completely and accurately. Tear off the portion that goes in your vehicle windshield. Put your money in the remaining envelope, seal and deposit in the 'Drop Box'.
- Put your portion of the permit on the driver side, front dash of your vehicle facing out so the caretaker or police can read it.
**RESERVATION CAMPING
Reservations can be made from March 1 - September by calling the Chehalis Parks and Recreation office, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm at (360)748-0271. CALLS WILL NOT BE RETURNED FOR MAKING RESERVATIONS OR FOR A PAYMENT REMINDER.
Phone reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance of your camping date. Payment must be received 7 days prior to your reservation date to guarantee your space. IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME, RESERVATION WILL BE CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE.
- Refunds only for medical emergencies or canceled city-sponsored programs. Allow 2 weeks for a refund.
- Upon receipt of reservation payment, the department will send confirmation of your reservation date and RV space number.
- Upon arrival at the park, find your space and set up. Have your confirmation receipt available for the RV caretaker when spaces are checked.
