Stan Hedwall RV Site Map

The RV Park is open April 1 - Thanksgiving weekend. Closing date in November may depend on the weather! There are 29 RV spaces; 1 picnic table in each RV space; spaces 1-16 with firepits - no wood provided, 110/30 AMP electrical; spaces 9-12 110/30 and 220/50 AMP electrical; Dish TV hookup with 4 channels; no drive through parking stalls; and pay showers in the restrooms (.25 cents). Sewage dump included in camping fee/$2.00 for non-campers. Please call the office if you plan to camp on opening day or through the Thanksgiving weekend.

When camping, the following responsibilities are those of the campers:

1. Camping is limited to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
2. CHECK IN time is 1:00pm CHECK OUT time is 12:00 noon
3. Quiet time is 10:00pm - 8:00am
4. All animals must be kept on a leash under control of owner.
5. No alcoholic beverages allowed outside your RV camp area.
6. You are responsible for all damages to your camping area.
7. Please leave your camping spot in the following condition:
   1. garbage picked up
   2. table clean
   3. no garbage in fireplace
   4. cigarette butts picked up
   5. animal waste picked up and dumped in garbage
8. Use per RV site:
   1. one RV and one vehicle
   2. one RV and one tent (maximum of 4 people) - one vehicle
   3. two tents (maximum of 4 people each) and one vehicle
   4. Additional cars may park in overflow parking lot.

**NON-RESERVATION CAMPING
Reservations are not required for camping at the Stan Hedwall RV Park. First come - first served camping is available 7 nights per week.  Procedures for checking in are:

1. In the RV Park find a suitable size camping spot without a 'Reservation' sign posted at site. Oversized combinations obstructing the driveway are not permitted
2. Go to the restroom, in the center of the camp, to the reservation counter on the women's side of the building.
3. Get a camping permit envelope from the box.
4. Fill out the permit completely and accurately, RV/vehicle license number must appear on permit.  Tear off the portion that goes in your vehicle windshield. Put your fee in the remaining envelope, seal and deposit in the 'Drop Box'. Put your portion of the permit on the driver side, front dash of your vehicle facing out so the caretaker or police can read it.  The city does not make change so exact amount is required.
5. Overnighters in unreserved spaces will be required to either reserve the space if available or relocate to an unreserved space if staying longer than overnight.

 

**RESERVATION CAMPING
Reservations can be made November 15 (or first working day after) for the following season by calling (360) 748-0271 Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (except holidays).  Payment instructions will be given at the time of the reservation.

 

1.  Payments must be received 7 days prior to your camping date to guarantee your space. Upon receipt of reservation payment, the department will send a receipt and reservation permit confirming your reservation date and RV space number - if mailing time allows.  Please place this permit on the driver side front dash of your vehicle facing out so the caretaker or police can read it.  IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME, PLEASE CALL THE PARK OFFICE FOR INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Refunds only for medical emergencies or canceled city-sponsored programs. Allow 3 weeks for a refund.
