The Chehalis Municipal Court has two (2) alternatives to jail time.  These programs are Electronic Home Monitoring and Day Reporting.  The Judge may give you the option to apply for these programs.  If this option is granted, the court will contact you by mail to schedule an appointment.  All defendants must complete an application to determine program eligibility.  Applications can be obtained from court staff.  Completing the application does not mean automatic acceptance into these programs.  The court does not offer community service as an alternative to jail time.
