The Chehalis Foundation benefiting the citizens and community of Chehalis, is a non-profit charitable organization.  It was formed in 2003 at the encouragement and support of city officials and interested citizens. 

The Foundation is organized exclusively for the support of the city through the construction or maintenance of public buildings, monuments, or works, and the lessening of the burdens of the city and the realization of projects and programs that support the city’s cultural and charitable pursuits. 

The Foundation’s first major project was the restoration and renovation of the Robert J. Lintott/Alexander Park.  The next project, recently approved by foundation board members, is the renovation of the “kiddie” pool at Recreation Park with a projected opening for fall of 2006.
