Comprehensive Planner, Community Development Department. $49,968 to $60,736 DOE, plus an excellent benefits package. Perform a wide variety of complex and sensitive planning and community development duties to assist in developing near and long-range policies and programs impacting the city and surrounding area. Requires a broad knowledge of planning principals and the ability to understand, define and express a variety of projects and programs to elected officials and the public. Requires Bachelors degree in urban planning, political science, or related field, and a minimum of five years work experience with complex planning programs in a government planning office, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.

          Water Safety Instructor          $8.82-9.72/hr. DOQ

         

Lateral Entry Police Officer:  This is a continuous opening subject to filling of vacant positions.  The pay range for Police Officer is $3,855 to $4,665 per month. More information is available at www.chehalispolice.com.

Entry-Level Police Officer: There is currently no vacany for Entry-level Police Officer, however the City is accepting applications on a continuous basis through www.publicsafetytesting.com.  The current pay for Entry-level Police Officer is $3,084 per month.  Entry-level hirings are also subject to space availability at the Police Training Academy.
